WHO WE ARE:

Hi, my name is Sidney Leasure and I am the Youth Pastor at Little River Baptist Church. Let me tell you a little about ourselves:

God’s Word tells many stories of people doing great things for God’s kingdom. David, Jeremiah, Shadrach, Meshach, Abed-nego, and Mary (Mother of Jesus). One thing in commom with all these great people are they were all teens when God used them. Even eleven of the disciples were teens. Peter was the only one that had to pay a Temple tax. God can and will use young people for His Kingdom. Our goal is to bring today’s youth to the saving knowledge of Christ. Then we want to see our youth grow in His word. Finally, we encourage our students to live out a Godly life not just in church but in their homes and school and to share the message of God’s love.

We encourage our youth group to be a family of love and accountability. We have fellowship time with drinks & snacks, prayer time, Bible drills, play games and a lesson. We also do a monhly outing and the highlight of the year is summer camp. We keep parents updated with weekly updates and all parents are invited to join us during a lesson and to attend any event. We encourage parents to participate as much as they desire.
